Contact and Records Routing

This privately operated reference is not a government office. It cannot verify custody, release a person, post bond, obtain records, or answer for an agency.

County Booking Contacts

Questions about a Riverside County jail booking or current custody belong with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The main office is at 4095 Lemon Street, Riverside, CA 92501, and the main line is 951-955-2400. Information Services Bureau and Records can be reached at 951-955-2440.

A formal booking-record or booking-photo request goes to the Sheriff’s CPRA Unit at 4095 Lemon Street, 5th Floor, Riverside, CA 92501, or by email at cpra@riversidesheriff.org. Include the booking number, date, facility, arresting agency, and the exact item sought when those details are known. The Sheriff, not this site, decides whether a record is available and what must be redacted.

Choose the Correct Office

The right contact depends on the stage and agency. Riverside Police or Corona Police may hold the city incident report. Moreno Valley police services are provided by the Sheriff, so police-record questions for that city go to the Sheriff rather than the city clerk. The Riverside Superior Court holds the criminal case record and final disposition.

  • Use JIMS or a county jail line for current or recent Sheriff custody.
  • Use VINELink for a matching custody-status alert or release notification.
  • Use CDCR CIRIS after transfer into California state-prison custody.
  • Use the BOP locator for federal custody and the ICE locator for immigration custody.

Urgent and Warrant Calls

The Riverside County Sheriff’s warrant line is 951-955-2430. A court clerk or attorney can also address a warrant tied to a criminal case. Do not use an unofficial listing as final confirmation, and do not approach a person believed to be wanted.

Call 911 for an immediate threat. Non-emergency Sheriff dispatch numbers vary by service area, so confirm the correct number on the official Sheriff contact page before calling.
